David Moore, LCSW, was born in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Houston when he was a child and has lived here most of his adult life. He is an alumnus of St. John’s School and he graduated from Southwestern University with a bachelor's degree in psychology, communications, and history. He received his master's degree in social work from the University of Houston. He also completed the Leadership Education and Adolescent Health Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He has worked extensively with both adults and adolescents in various clinical settings. Before going into private practice he was employed with Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital, and Ben Taub General Hospital as both an individual and family therapist. He is a licensed ropes course facilitator, a grief facilitator, and an experienced trainer and educator. He resides in Houston Texas with his loving wife Amanda. Together they have two inspiring children, two dogs and a cat. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, listening to music, movies, and art. He is an avid movie buff and has had training in film production.
